MEET JEANNE

About Me

I’m a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach with training from Emory University and Wellcoaches School of Coaching. I have a master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri - Columbia and hold a Plant-Based Certificate from the E-Cornell and T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, as well as an RRCA Level 1 Running Coach certification.

More important than any academic credentials, I’m a working mom of 3. I understand how life can get in the way of our best intentions. (I’m looking at you 2018, with your unused yoga app and overused pasta bowl!) I can attest to having a chronic case of As Soon As Syndrome. As soon as my schedule lightens up...as soon as the kids are in school...as soon as it’s Monday…. I waited two years for the perfect moment to put myself on the list, which meant I spent two years taking care of everyone and everything but myself. It wasn’t until I turned to my own health coach that I found an approach that worked for me. I realized prioritizing myself last not only makes me feel less like ME, but it also makes me worse at everything else on the list. Once I put myself at the TOP of that list I was able to turn BIG GOALS into SMALL STEPS and began finishing all that unfinished business. There’s nothing quite like getting started to keep you going.

That’s where I come in. I’m here to help you prioritize and take that next step toward your goals.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

At our initial meeting, I knew I had met someone very special. Jeanne has a genuine interest in the wellbeing of her clients. She spoke about the whole picture of healthy living (mind and body) and she worked with me to set appropriate, achievable goals. Most fascinating, she inquired how I thought achieving these goals would affect my identity - my sense of who I am. She is amazing - truly gifted in her profession.

-Carol

Jeanne was instrumental in my reaching the goal of running a 10K. I started from "couch" and through her weekly training runs, encouraging emails, and running tips I successfully reached my goal. I ran my 10K with confidence and power and felt great at the end. Thank you, Coach!

- Terri

You have truly been a catalyst of change in my life. I have been the “first generation “ of most things considered great in my family. Which means I (unintentionally) made negative choices that impacted my well-being from ignorance. Your program has provided me with knowledge and insight to set attainable goals while protecting my physical and (most importantly) my emotional well-being.

- Javan

What I thought was a Himilayan task, I just broke it and a big thanks to you for sharing your journey and helping me push my limits in running. Thanks so much for being there and making me believe that I too can do this!!

-Kavitha

The benefits have been exponential.

I lost 31 pounds and I changed my eating habits.

My life changed a lot and I learned a lot about myself.

I was lost because I lost sight of the most important factor - ME.  You helped me to organize. You helped me to categorize. You taught me that mental and physical health are dependent on one another. And you taught me how to love myself again.  And despite COVID-19, I was able to not only reach every 6 month goal I set, but surpass them (in less time than expected)...Most importantly, I’ve lost 20 pounds and currently remain in the best mental health state ever.

-Javan (6 months after 12 Week Challenge)

I was able to articulate my vision and actually do bite-sized action steps required to put a dent in it. It was a tremendous service to my personal relationships. It was an amazing experience.

Ms. Torre is a jewel! This was an absolutely amazing experience and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity.

I was able to organize my MANY ideas into executable action steps. It felt good to have someone that I was accountable to for deliverables. The accountability was affirming and inspiring.

I absolutely loved the experience and wish I could keep Jeanne with me ALLLLLLLL the time!!

Through coaching, I was able to take the time to see what is really important and prioritize myself. I was able to create goals and was reminded to use smaller action steps to achieve those goals versus attempting to tackle everything at once.

Jeanne was great and she really took the time to listen to what I was saying. She was able to recall information from previous sessions and use that to guide me through my action steps.
