About Me
I’m a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach with training from Emory University and Wellcoaches School of Coaching. I have a master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri - Columbia and hold a Plant-Based Certificate from the E-Cornell and T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, as well as an RRCA Level 1 Running Coach certification.
More important than any academic credentials, I’m a working mom of 3. I understand how life can get in the way of our best intentions. (I’m looking at you 2018, with your unused yoga app and overused pasta bowl!) I can attest to having a chronic case of As Soon As Syndrome. As soon as my schedule lightens up...as soon as the kids are in school...as soon as it’s Monday…. I waited two years for the perfect moment to put myself on the list, which meant I spent two years taking care of everyone and everything but myself. It wasn’t until I turned to my own health coach that I found an approach that worked for me. I realized prioritizing myself last not only makes me feel less like ME, but it also makes me worse at everything else on the list. Once I put myself at the TOP of that list I was able to turn BIG GOALS into SMALL STEPS and began finishing all that unfinished business. There’s nothing quite like getting started to keep you going.
That’s where I come in. I’m here to help you prioritize and take that next step toward your goals.
